Rather fill it in on screen? Clinic policies sign
What is on the sign
| Header | Logo box, “Clinic policies” in both languages and the clinic name. |
|---|---|
| Cancellation and late arrival | 24 hours’ notice, a deposit that may be kept after a missed visit, and rescheduling after 15 minutes late. |
| Payment and insurance | Methods accepted, payment at the end of the visit, eligibility checked before the visit and the patient’s share paid on the day. |
| Children, photography, complaints | Children with a guardian and one companion, no photos in the clinic, and how to raise a concern with a reply time. |
| Two files | The Arabic file leads in Arabic with English beside it; the English file the other way round. |
How to use it
Match your rules
Change the notice period, the late limit and the payment methods to what your clinic really does.
Keep both languages in step
Edit the Arabic and the English line together so the two say the same thing.
Print at the right size
A4 for the desk; scale to 141% for A3 on the waiting-room wall.
Use it at the desk
When a patient asks, point to the line and explain it once, kindly.
Who it is for
Clinics that keep repeating the same answers at reception, and clinics with patients who read Arabic, English or both.

Questions
Can I keep a deposit after a missed visit?
Only if the patient was told before booking, in writing. The sign says “may”, and your booking message should say the same. Check it with your adviser.
Why 24 hours and 15 minutes?
They are common choices, not rules. Use what you can enforce kindly and the same way for everyone.
Can I remove a policy?
Yes. Seven lines is the most a sign should carry; fewer reads better.
Does it print at A3?
Yes. A4 to A3 is 141%, and the layout scales without moving.
A policy the system applies
In Medicolize reminders, deposits by payment link and insurance eligibility run on each booking, so the sign on the wall is what actually happens. Thirty minutes on your own clinic.
