Patient record
The pregnancy as one episode with its imaging
Obstetrics is the one specialty where the whole schedule is driven by a date that was estimated months ago. Antenatal visits, scans and screening all sit at fixed points from it, and missing one has consequences.
Visits, scans, results and measurements belong to one episode with an expected date, not to a series of unconnected appointments.
The next visit is due at a number of weeks, not in a number of days. The schedule has to be generated from the estimated date and adjusted when it changes.
Ultrasound reports and images attach to the visit that produced them and stay readable alongside the measurements taken at the same time.

Antenatal care is a defined pathway with dates attached. Either the system knows the pathway or somebody tracks it on paper.
