Access control per record type, with reads logged
Mental health clinics have the same scheduling and billing problems as everyone else and one that is entirely their own: the record is more sensitive than anything in a general clinic, and who can read it matters as much as what it says.
Reception needs to book and take payment. They do not need session notes. Access has to be restricted per record type, and reads of restricted records have to be logged.
Weekly or fortnightly sessions running for months. Booking the pattern and protecting the slot is most of the administration.

A reminder that names the clinic and the specialty is a problem for some patients. Message templates have to be editable down to what appears on the lock screen.
Psychiatry is the specialty where who can read what is not a preference. It is what makes the record usable at all.
