Log every appointment
Not only the missed ones: the rate needs the ones that came.
Record the reminders
Mark the 24-hour and 3-hour reminders and whether the patient confirmed.
Close each day
Set the outcome, and a new date for anyone rebooked.
Read the summary
Pick the period and look at the red rows first.
Who it is for
Front desks and clinic managers who know no-shows cost them but not where they come from. The sample covers August and September 2026: reminders start mid-August and the weekly rate falls from over 20% to around 5%, unconfirmed patients miss far more often than confirmed ones, and Instagram bookings and Thursdays are the weak spots. Questions
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. It uses COUNTIFS, SUMIFS and INDEX, which both handle.
Can I change the currency?
Yes. The currency is one cell on the Settings sheet, with ر.س, ج.م, د.ك, د.إ and د.ب in the list. It labels the deposits.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. The file is yours, on your computer or your own Drive. Patient names and phones you type never reach Medicolize.
What counts as a no-show?
A patient who did not come and did not cancel in time. A late cancel is counted on its own, and an appointment moved before its day is left out of the rate.
